Falck Renewables has completed the construction of its wind farm in Illois, Seine-Maritime department, one of the windiest areas in France. With the project reaching the Commercial Operations Date, Falck Renewables has increased its portfolio by 12 MW.
The six-turbine wind farm is anticipated to generate about 28 GWh of renewable electricity annually, enough to provide power to about 6,600 families. It is the eighth French wind farm built by Falck Renewables.
Falck Renewables plans to hold an opening ceremony in September when it will also unveil initiatives for people living around the area.
