Falck Renewables SpA and BlueFloat Energy LLC have unveiled plans to build a 1.3 GW floating offshore wind farm off the southern coast of the Lecce province in Italy.
The companies are set to file the documentation required to start the authorization process for the planned Odra Energia project under their equal partnership framework.
The project is expected to produce about 4 TWh of electricity annually, equivalent to the consumption of over 1 million Italian households.
