EWZ finalizes full ownership of 30 MW Stigafjellet wind project in Bjerkreim

Eolus has received the final payment of the sale of its 30 MW Stigafjellet wind farm in Norway to EWZ after the fulfillment of a number of conditions.

The wind farm located in Bjerkreim, south of Stavanger will be comprised of seven Siemens Gamesa SWT-DD-130 turbines. The preliminary purchase price for the wind farm amounts to EUR40.7 million (US$45.6 million).

Eolus will provide technical, operational and administrative services to maximize outcome and production from the facility.

The wind farm is expected be commissioned during the second half of 2020.
