Eurus Energy America Corporation has awarded a technology contract to Finnish technology group Wartsila Corp to deliver the 10 MW energy system component of its 56 MW Coromuel wind project in Baja California Sur in Mexico.
Wartsila will supply GridSolv Max energy storage solution with the GEMS smart energy management system to the project. The technology of the system allows frequency control and ramp rate in the wind farm.
The contract also covers the maintenance, repairs, remote monitoring, and performance guarantees for an unspecified length of service.
