Epuron submits plan for 300 MW Bowmans Creek wind farm project in NSW

Epuron Pty Ltd has applied for development approval with the New South Wales regulators for the construction of the 300 MW wind farm project in the Hunter region. 

The environmental impact statement (EIS) for the Bowmans Creek scheme is submitted with the state’s Department of Planning, Industry, and Environment. The Department has reviewed the application and it is now on public exhibition for six weeks until May 11, 2021. 

The project is expected to generate up to AUD570 million (US$433.3 million) of investment. It will consist of up to 60 turbines. Once approved, the project enters operation before the end of 2022.
