Czech EPH, through its unit, EP UK Investments (EP UKI) has closed the acquisition of an 80% stakes in the 400 MW Tynagh Combined Cycle Power Plant located in East Galway County, Ireland.
The project is acquired from GE Energy Financial Services (40%) and Turkish firm Gama Energy (40%). Tynagh Energy Founder Bran Keogh’s Mountainside Partners will continue to hold the remaining 20% stake.
The project has been operational since 2006.
