The UK Infrastructure Bank has launched an Expression Of Interest (EOI) process seeking fund managers that can partner with the Bank to identify equity investment opportunities in electricity storage in the UK.
The Bank intends to provide a cornerstone investment of GBP50 million (US$60.76 million) to GBP150 million (US$182.28 million) of matching capital, with the aim of building confidence in a wider pool of private investors in the storage sector. It intends to provide finance to help accelerate the deployment of storage technologies to achieve net zero across the UK by 2050.
The last date to submit the response is August 29, 2022. More information about this EOI can be found on our business opportunity page here.
