Envision Energy has been selected as the sole provider of wind turbine generators (WTGs) for the development of the 1.7 GW wind project which will power the 4 GW Neom green hydrogen mega plant project in Saudi Arabia.
Envision will deploy its 6.5 MW turbines to the Neom Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC)'s project in Oxagon, Saudi Arabia, which will connect 4 GW of wind, solar, and batteries to produce up to 600 tonnes of green ammonia per day utilizing more than 2 GW of hydrogen electrolysis.
The wind turbines are projected to be operational by 2026. Envision has not yet disclosed where will the turbines be made for this deal.
