Enray Power Ltd has reached financial close on the Camblesforth Solar Farm project in North Yorkshire, England, which has a targeted capacity of 68.5-MWp and will be backed by 24 MW of battery storage.
Financing, procurement, and offtake agreements for Enray’s Camblesforth Solar Farm have been finalized, and construction is now in progress. This marks Enray’s first project combining both battery energy storage and solar PV at a single site. Located near Selby, the Camblesforth site will be capable of powering 22,800 local homes annually.
Enray has secured senior debt financing through a multi-facility agreement with Dutch bank Rabobank, ensuring full project delivery without the need for external investors. The company is also working with financial advisory firm Akereos Capital, which supported the process by providing debt advisory, bookrunning, and structuring services. Additionally, Akereos facilitated both the power purchase agreement (PPA) and the battery storage optimisation deal with a major multinational corporation.
