Eni starts construction of 10 MW solar project in Tataouine

Eni has started the construction of a 10 MW solar photovoltaic project located in Tataouine in southern Tunisia. 

The project will be equipped with a solar tracking system and will generate more than 20 GWh of energy per year throughout its planned 25 years of operation. 

State-owned company Societe Tunisienne de l'Electricite et du Gaz (STEG) has awarded the ETAP-Eni consortium to build the solar farm.
