Eni inaugurates the 10 MW solar plant in Algeria

Eni SpA inaugurated the 10 MW solar power plant at the Bir Rebaa North (BRN) oil field power plant. The project is located in Algeria. Eni developed the project together with Sonatrach, a company owned by the government.

Eni has signed new renewables-related deals Sonatrach. Part of the agreement is to build an advanced research and development laboratory at the project location. The facility will be used to test solar technologies in the desert.
