Engie secures concession for 250 MW Punta Lomitas wind project in Ica

The Ministry of Mines and Energy of Peru has approved the concession of the 260 MW Punta Lomitas wind farm to French renewable energy developer Engie. 

Engie plans to develop the wind farm in the district of Ocucaje in the province of Ica. It is estimated to require up to US$323 million of investment. 

Commissioning of the project operation is expected to be achieved after 39 months of construction works.
