ENGIE North America Inc. has started the commercial operation of its 30 MW Seymour Hills Wind Farm Project located in Baylor County, Texas, USA.
The wind farm provides clean energy to its corporate customers, Ingersoll Rand (IR) and Akamai Technologies, Inc. (AKAM), each under the separate power purchase agreements.
The US$50 million Seymour Hills project features 12 General Electric 2.52 MW turbines with 127-meter rotors and was constructed by Blattner Energy, Inc.
ENGIE North America acquired the project from Infinity Power Holdings, a joint venture between Infinity Renewables and MAP® Energy.
