Energias Renovables del Sur awarded development of 131.1 MW wind project in Ica

The Ministry of Energy and Mines (Minem) of Peru has awarded the development of a 131.1 MW wind farm located in the Ica region to Energias Renovables del Sur, a unit of Grupo Enhol. 

Parque Eólico San Juan wind farm will be built in the Marcona district of Nasca province. Once operational, the wind project will generate power for the National Interconnected Electric System (SEIN). 

The project is expected to be operational by 2024.
