Irish developer Enerco has announced that it is in early stages of planning for a 150 MW wind farm in the Argyll and Bute council area of western Scotland.
The company has started investigating a potential site for the project near Lochgillphead on the Kintyre peninsula, with plans to install 38 turbines each up to 175 meters high.
Enerco has contracted Arcus, a planning, environmental and engineering consultancy, to lead the planning activities on its behalf.
