Enemalta to launch Montenegro's 46 MW Mozura wind farm in September

Shanghai Electric Power Engineering has completed the works on the installation of a total of 23 turbines at Mozura wind farm, Montenegro and according to the plans by Enemalta plc, the farm should start with the test performance by the end of September 2019.

All tests are expected to be completed by the end of September and the plant should be connected to the country’s power grid after that.

The project involves the installation of 23 Gamesa G97-2.0 MW wind turbines with a nominal power output of 2 MW to achieve a total installed capacity of 46 MW. The facility is expected to generate approximately 96.968 GWh per year. It is located on the Mozura hilltop, between the towns of Bar and Ulcinj, in southern Montenegro.
