Endesa, through its renewable energy division Enel Green Power Spain, has started the operati0n of its 14.4 MW wind farm project in the province of Teruel.
The Oriche wind farm project is built in the towns of Allueva, Anadón, and Fonfría. The project has four wind turbines of 3.6 MW of unit power and will generate around 48 GWh per year, production equivalent to the consumption of 15,000 homes.
Its entry into service will prevent the emission into the atmosphere of approximately 31,800 tons of CO2 per year. The project amounts to about EUR14.8 million (US$16.8 million).
