Endesa SA has secured an environmental impact statement (EIS) for the development of the 49.97 MW Apicio and 49.11 MW Nertobriga solar PV plants located in the municipality of Fregenal de la Sierra, Badajoz province, Spain.
Apicio is being developed by Endesa´s subsidiary Enel Green Power Espana (EGPE) SL and Nertobriga - by Baylio Solar SLU, also a subsidiary of Endesa.
The Apicio and Nertobriga projects consist of up to 276,210 PV modules, to be installed on about 241 hectares (595.5 acres) of the area combined.
