Encavis AG has acquired the remaining minority stake (19.99%) of its 300 MWp solar photovoltaic park Talayuela located in the province of Extremadura in Spain from Statkraft.
Statkraft developed, built, and sold this solar project to Encavis as well as the 200 MWp La Cabrera, the second-largest PV park of Encavis AG in Spain. The solar project spans 520 hectares of land in Caceres and consists of 830,000 solar modules. It can generate enough electricity to meet the needs of around 166,000 homes annually, avoiding emissions into the atmosphere of over 165,000 tonnes of CO2 each year.
Moreover, in 2021 Encavis AG has increased its ownership to 100% in the 44 MWp solar park Budel in the Netherlands, the 19 MWp Brandenburg/Havel solar park, the 6 MWp Bitterfeld solar park as well as in 12 further solar parks in France with a total capacity of 75 MWp in fiscal 2020.
