Eko Agro Group (EAG) has signed a preliminary agreement with RWE Renewables Italia to develop 35 Agri-Photovoltaic (APV) sites in Italy, covering approximately 850 ha of agricultural land across several regions. The project is expected to generate up to 700 MW/h of clean energy. The two companies are still finalizing details of their partnership and will provide further information as the project progresses.
In addition, EAG has also entered into a partnership with RheAura OP to create an operational structure based on the EAG model for developing APV sites on suitable areas belonging to RheAura’s associates. APV solutions require an understanding of agricultural operations, and thus RheAura’s network and farming expertise is a valuable opportunity for EAG.
These agreements represent significant progress for EAG in its efforts to enhance the sustainability of farming and take advantage of the growing relationship between green energy and sustainable agriculture. The company is committed to working with partners who share its vision of a greener future and will continue to explore new opportunities to support its goal.
