EGP to build 230 MW solar project in Mexico

Enel SpA, through its renewable energy unit, Enel Green Power (EGP), will build the 231.8 MW Magdalena 2 solar project located in Tlaxcala state in Mexico. 

The project requires a total investment of about USD160 million to develop a facility consisting of 550,000 solar panels. 

Operation of the project is expected to start by mid-2019.
