EDP Renewables (EDPR) has started the commercial operation of its 25 MW Monte Mattina and the 45 MW Sant'Alessandro wind farms located in Italy.
The 25 MW Monte Mattina wind farm consists of seven 3.6 MW wind turbines built in the Campania region, and the 45 MW Sant'Alessandro wind project has thirteen 3.45 MW wind turbines located in the Basilicata region.
Both projects are expected to contribute to the reduction of approximately 74,676 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year and will supply energy to more than 58,000 households.
