EDP Renováveis SA (EDPR) has signed an electricity purchase and sale agreement (PPA) with Ammper, a leading provider of energy services, to sell the energy produced by the Los Cuervos photovoltaic solar energy park, with a capacity of 200 MW.
The Los Cuervos solar park, located in Mexico, is expected to start operating in early 2021. Given the installed capacity in this country and the projects that EDPR has already formalized there, the company's installed capacity in Mexico will reach 0.5 GW in 2021.
The contract is expressed in US dollars and has a minimum term of 15 years.
