EDF Renewables, a unit of EDF Group, has submitted its planning application to the South Norfolk Council for the proposed 49.9 MW solar photovoltaic facility located in Norfolk in England, the UK.
Named as Bloy’s Grove solar PV park, the project will be built between the villages of Swainsthorpe and Mulbarton. The local council will decide on the application once the public consultation is done.
Once operational, the project is designed to provide energy for up to 14,600 local homes and can offset about 14,000 tonnes of carbon emission per year.
