Econergy Renewable Energy has secured EUR 38 million (US$39.5 million) financing from Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) for acquiring, developing, and constructing the 92 MW Parau solar project which began operations in 2024 in Romania.
The loan, with a maturity of up to 10.5 years, features structured repayments and a final balloon payment, with an interest rate tied to the six-month EURIBOR. Earlier in December 2024, Econergy Renewable Energy announced the completion of bond issuance, raising ILS 329 million (US$89.8 million). This milestone strengthens Econergy's partnership with RBI following the successful financing of the 155 MW Ratesti solar project
