Eco Wave Power has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lian Tat Company to bring Eco Wave Power’s wave energy technology to Taiwan. As per the MoU, Eco Wave Power and Lian Tat Company will enter into negotiations to establish a Joint Venture to develop wave energy projects in the country. Additionally, Lian Tat would be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, land use consents, and licensing and approvals required to complete the installation of the planned wave energy project.
Eco Wave Power will offer expertise in research and evaluation of the project feasibility, provide power generation equipment and knowledge, and perform troubleshooting.
The project will commence with a 100 kW pilot and then expand in stages to a total installed capacity of 20 MW.
