Eco Energy World (EEW), a solar developer based in UK, has successfully sold the 130 MW Aramara photovoltaic solar project in Queensland, Australia to an unnamed Chinese investor. The buyer will serve as contractor for the project involving engineering, procurement, and construction.

EEW estimated that the transaction is more than AUD 150 million. The project is funded on a fully merchant basis because it does not have a power purchase agreement yet.

The construction of the project is expected to start early in 2019.
