The solar project in Karaganda will have up to USD 52.7 million of funding from EBRD through the setup of a special purpose vehicle (SPV) SES Saran LLP. The SPV will develop, build and operate the project. It is owned by SOLARNET Investment GmbH.
The solar project in Zhambyl region will have up to KZT 20.120 billion (US$ 53.52m) funding from EBRD while the remaining KZT 25.716 billion (US$ 68.40 m) will be provided by Asian Development Bank (ADB). M-KAT Green LLP, a special purpose entity that will act as developer and borrower for the project, is jointly owned by Total EREN (75%) and Access Infra Central Asia (25%)
