DE Shaw Renewable Investments (DESRI) has signed power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Entergy Louisiana LLC for the three solar photovoltaic farms it is currently developing in Louisiana, USA.
The deals are for the 150 MWac Vacherie Solar Energy Center (Vacherie) in St. James Parish, the 150 MWac SJ Louisiana Solar Project (SJ Solar) in St. James Parish and adjacent to Vacherie, and the 50 MWac Sunlight Road Solar Project (Sunlight Road) in the Washington Parish.
The initial developments of the 150 MWac SJ Solar were led by SunChase Power and Eolian. Once the three projects are operational, DESRI will own and operate the Vacherie and Sunlight Road projects while Entergy Louisiana will own SJ Solar.
