Belgium-based marine engineer DEME Offshore has completed the construction of 94 8-MW turbines for the 752 MW Borssele I&II offshore wind farm project in the Netherlands.
The turbines are provided by Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA with its SG 8.0-167 DD model.
Danish energy group Ørsted SA has started the construction of the project in January 2020 with the first turbine installed in April 2020.
