Deepwater Wind has announced that it has identified three possible locations in the South Coast of Massachusetts for the assembling of the wind turbine foundations, as part of its efforts to build a local offshore wind workforce. The company is also actively seeking proposals from Massachusetts boat builders for the construction of purpose-built crew vessels for the project. If approved, local construction work on Revolution Wind would begin in 2020, with the project in operation by 2023
