Enel Green Power has started construction on the 34.2 MW solar farm that will comprise 87,000 bifacial solar modules.

The project will feature highly efficient bifacial modules mounted on single-axis trackers and be connected to the local distribution grid through the Cohuna Zone Substation.

The developer was awarded a 15-year support agreement from the Victoria state government for the generation of energy and green certificates.

Expected to enter commercial operations by the end of 2019, Cohuna Solar Farm will generate around 77 GWh of clean energy annually.
