Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) has started the operation of the 100 MW Lilyvale solar photovoltaic farm located in Queensland, Australia.
The project has started the production of if first power on March 9 and is expected to deliver full capacity in the coming months after the completion of the Australian Energy Market Operator’s (AEMO) testing phase.
The solar farm is equipped with polycrystalline solar panels and a single-axis tracking system to maximize generation and will be connected to the local grid via the nearby Lilyvale substation, using a new electricity transmission line.
