The company plans to allocate JPY83 billion to wind power and JPY40 billion to next-generation energy sources, including JPY25 billion (US$191.22 million) to SAF. In addition to green energy, Cosmo Energy Holdings Co Ltd will invest JPY280 billion (US$2.13 billion) in its mainstay oil business, which includes oil development and petrochemical.
This investment in green energy and oil will help the company to stay competitive in the rapidly changing energy landscape, while also contributing to a more sustainable future for the planet.
