Construction started of 42.2 MW solar farm in Andalusia

Statkraft AS has started construction of a 42.2-MW solar farm at a site in Jerez de la Frontera, Andalusia, Spain.

The project, named El Rancho, will require an investment of over EUR 30 million (USD 33.1 million). Once in operation, the El Rancho solar farm will generate enough clean and affordable electricity to meet the average annual consumption of 30,000 homes.
