The City of Uberaba in the Minas Gerais state of Brazil has launched a tender for the development, operation, maintenance, and management of a 15 MW solar photovoltaic plant under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme.
The selected developer will deliver the project under a 26-year concession period. The project represents an estimated investment of about BRL218.4 million (US$52.4 million).
The Institute of Planning and Management of Cities (IPGC) and a Brazilian local company Innova Energy has conducted the PPP study for the proposed project.
