China Energy Engineering Corp Ltd, through its subsidiaries, has commenced the construction of its 500 MW solar photovoltaic plant and a 130.88 MW/268.6 MWh energy storage facility.
China Energy Engineering Group Shanxi Electric Power Engineering Co Ltd has started the development of the 500 MW Shanxi Changzhi solar photovoltaic (PV) park located in Licheng County and Pingshun County of Shanxi province. The project will be implemented in two single developments of 250 MW each.
On the other hand, China Energy Engineering Group Jiangsu Electric Power Design Institute Co Ltd has started the construction of a 130.88-MW/268.6-MWh energy storage project in Jiangbei, Nanjing, Jiangsu province. The project represents the grid-side electrochemical energy storage power station with the largest capacity and the highest power in China.
