Chilean government approves the environmental evaluation report of 138 MW Litueche wind farm. The project is located in Litueche, in the province of Cardenal Caro. and is currently in development phase.
The construction is expected to begin in the 2nd half of 2019. Its completion is expected by 2020. The project is valued at USD 150 million. It is owned by Plan 8 Energia Infinita Ltda. The company is founded by Plan 8 GmbH and Chile’s Energia Alternativa Ltda.
The project features 30 units of onshore wind turbines with 4.6 MW each. The diameter of the blade is 73.66 meters long.
