The Government of Chile through the Environmental Assessment Commission has approved the inclusion of the 9 MW Sunhunter solar photovoltaic project as part of the Small Distributed Generation Media (PMGD).
The project will feed power to the National Electric System (SEN) through a 2.3-km long electric transmission line.
The new PV plant will have a useful life of about 40 years. It is the fifth project approved in 2018 as part of PMGD.
