Chenya Energy Co Ltd has secured about TWD7.2 billion (US$239.3 million) financing for the development of a 180 MW floating solar project in the Changhua Coastal Industrial Park.
The fund was secured from a consortium of seven international and local lenders that includes Singapore’s DBS Bank, Japan’s Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp, and France’s Societe Generale.
The project is expected to be operational by the end of 2020.
