Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) has successfully acquired stakes OF 10 MW Northam solar park from Carnegie Clean Energy Ltd. The project, located in the Western Australia, was completed and put online last November 2018.
The value of the project amounted to AUD 17 million. It features 34,000 solar panels supplied by Risen Energy. Germany's SMA Solar supplied the inverters. The project can produce up to 24,000 MWh of clean energy annually.
Carnegie, following the deal, will continue to keep 11.33% stakes in the plant. It was noted that company announced to sell its stakes to IBA, its co-owner of the project, September this year. The funds of the transaction amounting to AUD 2.5 million will be used for the company's remaining equity distribution to the partnership. The company assured that it will not dispose its remaining interest without its co-owner's approval.
