Capital Power starts commercial operation of 41 MW Strathmore solar project in Alberta

Canadian power producer Capital Power Corporation has started the commercial operation of its 41 MW Strathmore solar photovoltaic project located 320 acres of leased industrial land owned by the Town of Strathmore in Alberta, Canada. 

The project has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement with TELUS Communications. Capital Power has also partnered with Whispering Cedars Ranch and welcomed their sheep to the site for sustainable land management.
