Capital Dynamics has announced that its Clean Energy business has successfully acquired an 80% equity stake in a co-located solar-plus-storage project in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, from Münch Energie, a leading German renewable energy developer.
The hybrid project features a 34 MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) asset and an 11.7 MW battery energy storage system (BESS), supported by a fixed-price corporate Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and tariffs under the EEG innovation tender. Benefiting from Germany’s Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) and incentives for battery storage, the project aligns with the country’s growing clean energy market and grid stability goals. Capital Dynamics, managing over $15 billion in assets as of March 31, 2025, aims to deploy significant capital in Germany’s clean energy sector, leveraging market volatility for solar-plus-storage strategies to deliver sustainable value.
