Southern Power has inaugurated the 148 MW Cactus Flats wind park. The facility is located in Concho County, Texas. It will comprise 43 turbines supplied by Vestas Wind Systems. The company will also provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services in partnership with Southern Power.
General Motors and General Mills have agreed to buy the power of the project under separeted PPAs respectively.
