Brookfield Asset Management has entered into talks with ACS Group and Global Infrastructure Partners regarding the acquisition of the Spanish firm Bow Power. The company owns a renewables portfolio of around 460 MW total installed capacity. 150 MW of concentrated solar power (CSP) assets are excluded from the transaction.
The deal represents an estimated investment of between EUR500 million and EUR700 million. If a deal with Brookfield cannot be reached, the owners have asked Barclays to arrange a second round of the sale process.
