Brazil approves Energisa's acquisition of Alsol

Brazil's Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade) has approved, without restrictions, the acquisition of Alsol Energias Renovaveis SA by Energisa SA from Algar SA Empreendimentos e Participacoes and Gustavo Malagoli Buiatti.

Alsol Energias Renováveis S/A engages in the installation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems connected to the grid for residential and commercial customers in Brazil.

Energisa is buying an 87% controlling stake in Alsol for an amount of BRL11.7 million (US$2.9 million).
