BPDB launched tender process for four solar projects

The Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) has launched a tender offer for four solar projects that have a combined capacity of 200 MW. The facilities will be developed through a build-own-operate (BOO) and the developers will be awarded a 20-year power purchase agreement. The projects included are:

  • 50 MW solar project in Baraiyarhat
  • 50 MW solar project in Chuadanga
  • 50 MW solar project in Netrokona
  • 50 MW solar project in Bhaluka

The deadline for the submission of the proposals is on August 28, 2018
