US investment management company BlackRock Inc has further increased its interest in the Israeli solar energy technology company SolarEdge Technologies Inc. after it has acquired additional stakes in the company.
BlackRock Inc. now owns 5,111,607 shares of SolarEdge's company stock which represents around 10.3% for an investment deal worth US$175 million.
SolarEdge is engaged in solar power optimization and photovoltaic monitoring solutions industry. The company offers optimizers, inverters, monitoring equipment, tools, and accessories for power harvesting, conversion, and efficiency.
