The Argentine development bank BICE and Banco Galicia have agreed to provide US$7.5 million financing for the 8 MW biomass project developed by Seismega SA, a unit of Unitan SAICA.
The biomass facility will be built in Puerto Tirol, Chaco province. The project is part of the second round of the RenovAR tender. The facility is expected to enter operation by the start of 2020. The energy produce will be injected into the Argentine Interconnection System (SADI).
