BayWa to finalize sale of stakes in its renewables unit

BayWa AG is set to finalize the sale of its stakes in its renewable energy unit, BayWa r.e renewable energy GmbH.

Various companies have expressed interest to acquire 49% stakes in BayWa r.e. The selected investor will acquire the stake through a capital increase. 

BayWa r.e. is involved in the commissioning of over 2.8 GW of wind and solar power projects around the world and manages over 7 GW of assets.
